The first day of classes for all children in the Cape Breton-Victoria Regional Centre for Education (Pre-Primary to Grade 12) is Thursday, September 5.

Registration Information for Families: 

• Children not previously registered for school can complete registration online here: https://cbvrce.ca/home/student-registration.
• If you require assistance, please contact your school’s administration office on September 3, or refer to the school-specific information listed below.
• Families wishing to contact Breton Education Centre before Sept. 5 should email [email protected].

The following schools will be open to accommodate in-person registrations before Sept. 3:

Adult High School:

• Open for registration on Wednesday, Aug. 21  & Friday, Aug 30, from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m.
• Late registrations accepted on Sept. 3 & 4 from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m.
• Night School Registration (academic upgrading) will be on Monday, Sept. 16 from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Baddeck Academy:

• Open for registration Aug. 26 to Aug. 30 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Glace Bay High School

• Open for registration on Wednesday, Aug. 28 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Memorial High School:

• Open for registration on Tuesday, Sept. 3rd  from 1 p.m. - 3 p.m.

Riverview High School:

• Open for registration Aug. 26 to Aug. 30 from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Sydney Academy:

• Open for registration Aug. 26 to Aug. 30 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
