The Cape Breton-Victoria Regional Centre for Education (CBVRCE) operates 38 schools throughout CBRM and Victoria County. The quality of school facilities contributes to a safe and supportive learning environment for our students and has a direct effect on the ability to effectively offer the Public School Program.
In any given year, there are a number of projects underway within the CBVRCE.
- New school construction and major renovations are managed by the provincial Department of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal.
- Capital repair projects are managed by the CBVRCE Operations Services department.
