Black Reflections Art Gallery
We’re pleased to share this year’s Black Reflections Art Gallery.
This annual event features the talent and creativity of our African Nova Scotian students from across the Cape Breton-Victoria Regional Centre for Education.
This year, the gallery has shifted from its usual in-person format to a virtual setting in order to adhere to COVID Guidelines.
As we pause to reflect on African Heritage Month and this year’s theme, it’s important to recognize that while February is an opportunity to celebrate the rich history of African Nova Scotians, the Cape Breton-Victoria Regional Centre for Education remains focused on this important part of our heritage every day of the year.
Students and staff are provided educational and professional development opportunities throughout the year and race relations and cross-cultural understanding are key components of curriculum.
